Mary G. Jameson
Mary G. Jameson grew up in La Jolla, California. Daughter of aerospace executive Frank G. Jameson, Mary graduated from USC with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing and enjoyed a career in Executive Search with Staley and Associates and Commercial Real Estate with Alexander Haagen Development. For the last twelve years, Mary has served on the Board of Glenair Inc. which is a prime sub-contractor in the Interconnect Industry for both military and commercial aerospace.
In 2013, Mary joined the Education Endowment Committee for the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. This has led her to a greater focus on global awareness and, specifically, the protection and conservation of the marine environment. Mary established the Mary G. Jameson Charitable Trust Foundation to help support organizations and groups dedicated to saving our oceans. Mary is a Board Trustee of The Walter Munk Foundation for the Oceans which was established to continue Dr. Munk’s legacy through scientific research, education, exploration and ocean conservation. She has been a member Explorers Club, San Diego Chapter since 2016. Mary and her husband Larry W. Wangberg currently reside in La Jolla, CA and Sun Valley, ID.
