Our favorite and biggest giving day of the year is on its way -- GivingTuesday!

On November 29, 2022, people all around the world will be coming together to tap into the power of human connection to strengthen communities and change our world. This year we’re asking you to give back to the oceans by donating to our 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Blue Latitudes Foundation.

Join the Blue Latitudes Foundation for a day of FUN in La Jolla Shores at Kellogg Park! Saturday, October 15th, 2022 from 10 AM – 4PM. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of the fragility of our oceans and coastal environments interactive educational opportunities for children of all ages. 

• Dedication of the Walter Munk Education Plaza and THE MAP of the Grand Canyons of La Jolla™

• Unveiling of the bronze sculpture, ‘From the HEIGHTS of Mt. Soledad to the DEPTHS of the Grand Canyons of La Jolla.’

• Ocean Alley exhibitors who will be offering interactive educational activities and games that engage the public and promote conservation and stewardship of our oceans and environment.

• It promises to be a memorable event with numerous dignitaries in attendance, music, face painters, and lots of fun for everyone!

Join Blue Latitudes Foundation as we clean up La Jolla Shores Beach in San Diego, California! Together, our efforts will reduce litter, protect our ocean and raise awareness about plastic pollution. The event will be hosted in front of the La Jolla Shores Lifeguard tower at 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 23rd.

We encourage you to bring your own reusable gloves, reusable bag/bucket and/or reusable water bottle to help promote zero waste at our cleanups!
